Adam Denton discusses his participation in the Race Across America, one of the most respected and longest running annual endurance events holding legendary stature the world over. Riding as part of the Sharp4Prostate team, Adam will use a number of technologies to assist in the race. He talks with Phil about both the physical preparation as well as the likely use of GPS, the web, and social media to assist.


Adam Denton is Head of Regulatory Policy at the GSM Association and is a keen amateur sportsman. At work Adam is responsible of the development and communication of global mobile industry positions addressing current and future regulation and policy. At play, Adam is one of the riders in the Sharp4Prostate team taking part in this year’s Race Across America (RAAM).

The team is looking to raise £100,000 for cancer charities and is looking to complete the race in seven days. They will be using AT&T’s Mobile Broadband network to stay connected coast to coast. Donations to the team can be made via the team’s website.
